Economic Growth: The integral support base for environmental, social concerns and a vital local economy should be complimentary rather than in opposition. Local businesses, the arts, accommodation industry and social organizations are all part of the community support system. Where business can contribute to increasing local amenities in an environmentally friendly way, while furthering their own success, we should encourage those partnerships in our overall community plan.

Social Consciousness: Our economic needs and use of our environment's resources causes us to have to addresses impact issues, e.g. land-use, farming, affordable housing, water issues, and things that affect all or part of our society. A Community Plan, like a business plan should, in the end be an enabling factor that rises above regulatory rigidity and fears to allow for individual circumstances and conditions to each be addressed accordingly. Any social consciousness that extends beyond the principle of empowering its community to grow and prosper becomes self-defeating and out of balance with its namesake.

Environmental Concerns: Economic and social health grows out of the foundation of a healthy environment, one of the most complex networks one could ever hope to understand in totality. Extending as it does through the ever-changing cycles of the Earth's seasons, it naturally follows that there are also spacial influences within our solar, galactic seasons and the Universe at large. When all is said and done, the environment is a contemplation of infinite dimensions yet at the community level we have immediate influence and control extending to a global influence through our purchasing decisions. Local community plans should not create a false sense of harmony with nature if by restricting a local clear cut operation we simply cause it to relocate to a hidden mountain-side elsewhere, perhaps even another country. Rather, in acknowledging use of the end-products, we should integrate locally our needs with practices and technologies in a more thoughful fashion.
